We have a small but active youth group for 6th - 12th graders. Our meetings are held at the church on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. It is a great time of fellowship, during which the youth share their weekly successes/challenges and prayer needs for the upcoming week. They also learn and discuss how Bible concepts should be used in daily life events. Wesley Chapel youth group is active in retreats with the Living Waters District and the greater Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Our youth are part of the mission work at Wesley Chapel UMC. Twice a month, they support our local elementary school by packing 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 snacks for those needing a little extra. The youth help with seasonal decorating in the worship area. They also support the younger children at Vacation Bible School by helping to teach lessons and singing songs. During activity time, they assist with projects and play games with them.
